10 Tips To Boost Positivity…

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog!

I know I was a little quiet last week but today I wanted to share a post to encourage positivity and to try and make us all feel a little more positive in life. I understand the situation we are in is very negative and draining, but that means it’s a great time to spread the love and positivity….something we all need!!

It’s short & sweet blog post, but that’s what we need; a quick burst of positivity!!

When you feel the power of positivity, the impact it has on your life is amazing! It makes every moment worth experiencing and every goal worth shooting for. By thinking positive, you just can’t help but be optimistic, even when everyone around you is miserable. What I love about being positive is the fact I am much happier, less stressed and more satisfied in life.

Here are my quick tips to how I stay positive:

  1. Have a good laugh & smile more (I do this all day everyday)
  2. Create new, positive habits.
  3. Limit exposure to negativity on social media.
  4. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you.
  5. Find things to be excited about – which is difficult at the moment as we can’t go out but think of all the exciting things you can do when we are allowed out again!!
  6. Remove toxic people from your life.
  7. Change can’t & won’t to I can & and I will.
  8. Leave the past where it belongs.
  9. Be grateful.
  10. READ QUOTES.

Number 10 is my personal favourite and anyone that knows me well, will know that quotes are something that I love!! They won’t help everyone, they don’t get rid of all your problems and they don’t solve all of your negative thoughts….but…. hear me out. There are so many quotes online, whether you need a burst of positivity, some inspiration, motivation, happiness, if you’re feeling lonely etc, there are quotes for every kind of mood/feeling. If I’m feeling negative or I need lifting up, I just read one or two quotes in; they don’t instantly help but they do make me feel better inside.

I know that some of these might be a little harder to achieve with everything going on at the moment but write everything down that you want to achieve when lockdown is over and then you have something to work towards. Add to the list everyday and eventually you will have a huge list of things you would like to achieve/go out and do! Let’s start creating more positive habits!

I completely understand that we can’t be positive 24/7 and having bad days is only natural, but try to be a little more positive in negative situations – trust me, you will feel better for it. Every challenge we face in our lives will leave us feeling unmotivated and negative; so developing and maintaining a positive mindset will definitely have its benefits.
