Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today’s post is a review about the Revolution Cica Hydration Cream and the Revolution Cica Balm – as always, Revolution are killing it with their skincare products, its hard to keep up!

If you haven’t heard about this new skincare ingredient that everyone is raving about, you NEED to carry on reading this post because oh my gosh, you don’t want to miss this! So before I talk to you about the Revolution Cica products, let’s go back to the basics and find out about the origins of the most talked about skincare ingredient.

What is Cica?

The word “cica” is a shortening of Centella asiatica, a herb native to some parts of Asia and Africa and it’s been a staple in traditional Chinese medicines & remedies for years. The leafy green herb has been used to treat wounds, incisions and burns which just shows how powerful it really is. Cica creams have been staples in skincare for many years, however thanks to K-Beauty, this amazing skin saviour has had a lot of attention!

So, the Revolution Cica Hydration Cream & the Revolution Cica Balm are definitely one of a kind! The benefits of Cica are almost endless and the best thing is that no matter what your skin type is or what your skincare concerns are, Cica should be able to help you in some way! Sound good?

Revolution Cica Hydration Cream

Who doesn’t love hydrated skin? Cica works to lock hydration into the skin to keep the skin smooth and soft. This particular cream is infused with camomile which is known for its calming properties which will help to nourish your complexion! This cream is great if you want glowing skin because it literally changes your dull, dark skin to bright, radiant skin!

The Revolution Cica Cream is £10.00 for 50ml which is really well priced! By using this product, you of course get so many benefits such as soothing your skin, reducing redness and helping to keep your skin hydrated. I’m quite fussy when it comes to creams because I don’t like anything to heavy and greasy, but this cream is perfect for me because it is so lightweight and it almost melts into my skin instantly without leaving it feeling greasy. I would 100% recommend this product – you only have to read about Cica to realise that you need to include it in your skincare routine!

Revolution Cica Balm

This balm is simply amazing because it is multi-use, so you can quite literally use it to replenish moisture to dry areas of the whole body, not just your face! It includes Aloe Vera and Shea Butter, which are known for their moisturising properties; so the mixture of these ingredients helps to combat breakouts and helps to soften your skin.

The Revolution Cica Balm is £8.00 for 40ml, so this is an absolute bargain! If you suffer from eczema, dermatitis and even mild psorarsis, this product will be perfect for you. Again, it is so lightweight, non-greasy and it doesn’t have an overpowering scent, so it’s great to help any concerns you may have. It gives me the right amount of moisture, without being too much as well as soothing my skin and reducing any redness on my face/body. Everyone is different, but for me personally, I started noticing a difference after 1-2 weeks of use which is amazing! Also what I love is that you can fit this inside a handbag/travel bag so you can literally take it anywhere with you and use it whenever you need to!

For both products, the packaging is gorgeous – it’s simple, pretty and fresh! I love the whole vibe that it’s giving off and for the price, it’s definitely worth it! I would recommend both products and they have both fitted into my skincare routine very well!

Have you ever known a skincare ingredient to have so many benefits? Seriously, Cica is so impressive and it’s an ingredient that needs shouting out more often! Whether you’re new to cica or looking for more ways to introduce it into your skincare routine, there are so many options to try and you will soon realise why there is such a hype around this ingredient!

Cica really is a brilliant all-round miracle ingredient and it’s definitely worth investing in if you would like a glowing complexion.
